Ned Gompertz

Associate

Ned is an Associate in our Disputes team, having joined the firm as a Trainee Solicitor in September 2023.

Ned has experience across a range of media disputes and other contentious matters. Ned's experience includes advising on copyright infringement, licensing disputes, civil fraud, breach of contract and debt claims. Ned also acts on reputation matters, including claims involving defamation and misuse of private information. During his time at Simkins, Ned has worked extensively with clients in the music, film & television, advertising and digital industries.

Ned also has experience working in-house in the music industry. He completed a secondment at Universal Music Group during his training contract and worked at PRS for Music prior to joining Simkins. 

Before converting to law, Ned read History at the University of Cambridge and subsequently studied Management at the Cambridge Judge Business School.
