Simkins advised Rockerdale Studios on their new award-nominated TV show
Simkins’ Corporate and Commercial team advised Rockerdale Studios on an option agreement for the format of a French show called ‘The A Talks/Les Rencontres du Papotin’.
Rockerdale have since released ‘The Assembly’ pilot which saw actor Michael Sheen being questioned by a group of interviewers who self-identify as neurodivergent, autistic or learning disabled.
Associate Juliane Althoff advised on the option to secure exclusive rights to adapt the format.
The show itself has been nominated for shortlisting in The Reith Award category of the Radio Times Screen Test Awards and a clip of the show, entitled ‘Leo has a question for Michael Sheen’, has also been nominated as TV Moment of the Year in the Edinburgh TV Awards.
