Gurpreet Sanghera appointed trustee of Finding Rhythms
We are pleased to announce that Partner Gurpreet Sanghera has been appointed as a trustee of Finding Rhythms, a charity that runs collaborative music-making courses either within the prison estate or in the community for those at risk of (re)offending.
Participants in the programme are empowered to pursue a creative outlet and build key soft skills, which ultimately leads to a more positive sense of identity. The charity provides the resources and environments for participants to create high quality albums of music, and offers them the opportunity to gain a Prince's Trust qualification.
There is a marked lack of resources and guidance available for young people who find themselves in the system, and it can be difficult for them to break the mould. Helping to encourage a passion for music can change the direction of someone's life for the better, as shown through the many and varied success stories of Finding Rhythms.
More information about Finding Rhythms can be found here. Gurpreet's trustee profile can be found here.
