BASCA Gold Badge Awards

Simkins Chairman, Paddy Grafton Green, was presented yesterday with a Gold Badge Award by the British Academy of Songwriters, Composers and Authors.

The awards are given to those who have made an outstanding contribution to the lives of songwriters, composers and authors.

The ceremony was held at The Savoy Hotel and Paddy was presented with his award by Joan Armatrading. Amongst the other recipients of an award were Ray Davies CBE, Dame Cleo Laine, Liane Carroll, Janice Long and Gillian Moore MBE.
