Bankuet named as The Spectator’s Economic Innovator of the Year 2021 for London and the South East

Congratulations to Bankuet on winning not one but two awards at The Spectator Economic Innovator of the Year Awards 2021.

As well as being named Economic Innovator of the Year for London and the South East, Bankuet also won a Special Award for ‘excellence in ESG’ (environmental, social and governance issues).

Bankuet is a digital zero-waste food donation platform that supplies food banks with the stock they most need, when they need it.  Food poverty is sadly a pandemic of its own, and one which outlasts Covid, so the team is only just getting started in its mission to tackle hunger.

Simkins has worked with Bankuet from its early embryonic pre-pandemic days, through the challenges of scaling to try and meet the needs increased by the pandemic to current day, so we are thrilled to see Robin and his team’s achievements recognised in this way.
