Associate

Emily is an associate in the Employment team.

She has experience advising both employers and employees on all aspects of employment law across a variety of sectors, including retail, care homes, and senior executives. Emily assists clients with settlement negotiations and tribunal claims, representing both employers and employees in a range of claims including unfair dismissal and various discrimination claims. Emily also has experience in non-contentious matters including drafting workplace documents and providing day to day advice.

Before joining Simkins, Emily trained and qualified at a boutique law firm, where alongside her employment work she gained additional experience in both the commercial litigation and insolvency teams, representing clients in the County Court, High Court, Court of Appeal and Employment Tribunal.
